Teacup Chihuahuas? Teacup Chihuahuas... Here... There... Everywhere?
Watch out for the "teacup" scam. Cute terms like "Micro Teacup pocket puppies?" are being used as bait to lure you.
Such size terms are being used to sell ALL sizes of puppies. Do not believe everything you hear. Many Breeders will lie to make a sale.
Have you even clicked on an ad for Chihuahuas and end up on a website selling all kinds of dog breeds?
Signs of a puppymill are MANY DOG BREEDS FOR SALE. This is the number one clue.
Extra tiny Chihuahua puppies require around the clock care from tube feeding every 3 hours day and night, to extensive balance of heat and hydration. If these fragile puppies survive long enough, they require eagle eye maintenance, especially every time they are wormed or vaccinated.
Such tiny ones are not at all common and the teacup fraud is the largest scam online with Chihuahuas.

Welcome To Munchkinland Chihuahuas! We are a family of relatives who share our homes with our Chihuahuas.
We offer unique baby doll applehead cobby Chihuahuas. Also, Grandma has 2 or 3 Maltipoo litters a year.
Our Chihuahua get along well with cats so a plus for you who are cat owners.
Weaned puppies are housed two to a crib, if an odd puppy, then three. We potty train our puppies to litter boxes with pine pellet animal bedding. Most of our puppies are at least 80% trained by 10 weeks, and many fully trained by 12 -14 weeks.
Our Chihuahuas are bred to have compact body size, for an apple dome head, & short muzzle set at 90 degree angle.
We strive for a Chihuahua with a compact body and most of our adults are 7 inches in length
We take large close up clear photos of puppies so you can see all details.
Closeup photos make puppies appear larger then they are, so I use my hand in photos to help you judge size.
We also film action movies which helps you to judge personalities.
When you are ready to adopt you can fill out our adoption form, then follow up with an email. We are happy to set up a phone conversation with you if you would like. We have several years of references with emails for you to contact past buyers.
Beware of websites that label all of their puppies teacups. There is a huge scam online with dishonest breeders and Scammers.
Unfortuantely, consumers appear to be drawn to the cute size terms. Fight the urge as it is not safe to buy from breeders who flaunt these terms unting them to make sales. Cute size terms like "Micro Pocket Puppies" sell ALL size Chihuahuas.
Small breed dogs commonly have puppies under 8 weeks that weigh less then a lb, even those that go to 6 lbs or more grown.
WE PRACTICE SAFE VACCINATION
Pups stay with the Dam as long as possible. Happy puppies maximizes immune response during vaccinations.
We use "Neopar" vaccine which is the best Parvo vaccine in the world created by the Vet who invented the first Parvo vaccine in the 1970, when Parvo first appeared. Newest vaccines protocols now have Veterinarians administering 3 or 4 way puppyshots. Is your Vet still giving 6 and 7 way puppyshots? Vaccines work if a puppy has a good immune system
KNOWLEDGEABLE AND EXPERIENCED CALIFORNIA BREEDER
Dog breeders are not required by law to take any courses of study before producing puppies for sale to the public, yet a Veterinarian can't legally even give a puppy a vaccine injection without spending 8 years of study in an accredited school. Isn't it just as important a service to produce living healthy puppies as it is to treat genetically ill dogs throughout their lifetimes? I have studied for years on my own canine pathology, microbiology, parasitology, preventive nutrition, safe and effective vaccination and protection of the young pup's immune system.
BODY WEIGHT DOESN'T PREDICT BODY SIZE
Notice the small body size of the teeny 3 year old adult in the photo above.
Whether she weighs 2 or 4 lbs she still has a small 7 inch long body.
4 lbs would be too much weight for her tiny frame. At 3.0 lbs she looks just right.
Wouldn't you agree that body size is important? Weight is just the mass of any size body.
BREEDER IDENTITY THEFT
Scammers no longer just use stolen photos of quality puppies to deceive consumers.
Now they are impersonating well established online breeders!
Scammers are creating look alike email addresses, domains and website titles so write down the email address of the
breeders you are dealing with so you know every letter and space.
Just one added letter or space can cause a look-alike.
Watch out for the "teacup" scam. Cute terms like "Micro Teacup pocket puppies?" are being used as bait to lure you.
Avoid websites that use the term teacup to make sales. This is a sales tactic.
Spotting Teacup scams & puppymills: 1. Number ONE clue is many breeds for sale 2. Low prices
3. No adult photos 4. No Akc 5. All pups called teacups 6. States champion lines, while no pedigrees posted.

Hi Debra!
I purchased a long-haired black/tan female ("Demi"; one of the "twins" from Maisy and Bon -Bon born in September) from you in December of last year.
I'm sorry that I didn't get back to you sooner, but my daughter had her baby and I've been busy ever since.
I want you to know how happy I am with her. We named her Holly. She is absolutely the most beautiful chi that I have ever seen! She is about 4 pounds now, but very tiny! I now understand all the detailed explanations on your website about size vs. weight. Even though she is 4 pounds ( 3.12 ) , she looks smaller than most of my friends chis who are in the 2-3 pound range. Her body proportions are perfect! She has a perfectly round apple head with the short nose, and amazing facial features, giving her that "pixie" look. Her coat is amazing too, with a beautifully placed "plume" tail...
Her health is perfect. My vet said that she is a very "sound" dog.
If you need any recommendations for any potential buyers, please don't hesitate to send their questions to me, especially if they are concerned about adult size.
Do you still have her sister? Are you breeding her? I wish I would have taken her too!
You are a very conscientious breeder. I have had many chihuahuas in my lifetime, and Holly is the most beautiful one that I have ever had. She is also very calm...not a "yapper" like my other chis, and is perfectly happy just sitting on my lap. A perfect "lady", like her mom.

Warning! Scammer using my title and photos of my Chihuahuas . Type this number 425-906-5377 into search engines. Looks like this crook is placing fraudulent ads using many different breeds.
