In 2007 Karen, Melanie and I placed over 300 adult cats and kittens. I had the honor of directly placing nearly 80 of those myself. Most I trapped in the yards of people in Manteca, seniors who called and asked for help. The feral adults were released back to the yards where they came from and I go each week to these locations  and put 20 bags of food in dish pan  containers in their yards for the cats.I plce them in sheds or other covered outside areas. Also dishpans of water as well.

Summer of 2008  with the economy failing I cannot afford to continue at this pace.

Taming a feral kitten can sometimes fail as happened in the case of a silver female who at 1 year old  and still runs through my home. The cat LOVES the other cats in my household, plays with them and has fun, but she wants nothing to do with people. She is certainly not adoptable.

Update- Not only did Sinbad and Birdie not get adopted at Petsmart this last September (which was my rescues turn), but I also welcomed a new cat into my household who is used to me and happy here, and very nervous of other people. Lord in Heaven...
